Patient Notice: Coronavirus (Covid 19)
We want to reassure our patients that we will make every attempt to remain open at this difficult time. We have not taken this decision lightly and only on advice from The College Of Podiatry and the Government.
The College of Podiatry advises that: A front line health care worker is a medical professional who delivers essential or routine medical treatment and that includes podiatry in whatever sector it is delivered.
All routine foot care services will continue as normal at The Royal Arcade but under a reduced working week to assist in efforts to reduce social interactions. Patients can be seen via home visits if requested and if the circumstances allow.
We have made the difficult decision to temporarily limit services at our Sports Clinic at The Bridgeman Centre in line with the Physio department closing there too. We will offer limited services but only by phone or email request so that we can identify the needs and suitability of booking an appointment.
As always we will continue to maintain the highest clinical standards and follow necessary protocols to reduce any risk to patients and staff. If you or any member of your family has had symptoms we ask that you contact us to rearrange your appointment.
We will monitor the situation closely and update you if anything needs to change. Please follow government advice and stay safe. We will get through this if all we work together.
Please contact us on 07887 745041 if you have any concerns or would like to discuss anything.
Our podiatrists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), which means you will receive the highest level of personalised foot care from fully qualified healthcare professionals.
David has teamed up with French company SIDAS to offer you high performance orthotics. SIDAS work with some of the top sports people in the world and David aims to make this technology available to his patients.
Our podiatrists are members of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, meaning we have access to the most up to date learning in the field of podiatry, ensuring that the advice you receive is as good as it can be.
First visit ever to a podiatrist today and feel as if I’m walking on air with new feet! Nervous at first but David soon put me at ease and gave down to earth, sensible advice for future foot care. Next appointment booked.
Great availability, easy to book online, arranged Saturday appointment. Clinic easy to find, parking was easy at this time with meter. Appointment to treat cracked and dry skin with wax treatment. David really professional and knowledgeable whilst making feel at ease throughout treatment. Feet feel great and like new, wish I had come a long time ago instead of trying to treat myself with various creams etc. Highly recommend.
Excellent service, easy to find easy to get an appointment and very friendly staff!!
Will be visiting again for sure
I can’t tell you all how I feel after a wax treatment on my feet last Friday the 19th and I still feel great, no pain I can wait to have another treatment in six weeks time.
Very good professional with high standards.
After six months I returned to David Brown Podiatry to have new insoles as I did a marathon and two half marathons with the previous ones.
No injury! David did a very good job, as my calf pain disappeared.
As a diabetic I used to dread podiatry appointments, but not any more. David is clearly an expert, and is a caring and gentle practitioner.
Highly recommended! Very thorough assessment and the orthotics are the best I have ever had- high quality and value for money.
Excellent service at every appointment. Always seen on time, friendly and relaxing atmosphere within the clinic. Foot care advice given when necessary. Appointment reminders sent along with the ability to book, cancel or change appointments online. I have seen 2 different podiatrists, Emily and David, both have been professional, caring, very efficient and importantly have a way of putting you at ease. Care is discussed with the patient before proceeding and amazingly – without looking at previous records they will remember a tiny foot problem you may have mentioned at the last visit and will check whether this has improved or not. You leave the clinic feeling cared for.
